Risë Beth Bill received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has a broad range of experience in her field, including work with the visually handicapped, rehabilitation counseling with the mentally retarded, hospice work and career counseling. For the past thirty years, Risë has been a practicing psychotherapist in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, working with individuals, couples, families and children. Her primary emphasis is on providing others with the tools for change to enable them to empower and re-direct their lives. In addition to traditional therapy. Risë also incorporates hypnotherapy for weight loss, self-esteem, stress management, and pain control. She has extensive experience in dealing with women's issues, eating disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress and depression.
Douglas Bill has worked in the mental health field since 1974. His holistically oriented practice focuses on cultivating strength and balance on the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. In addition to his Master of Science Degree in Eastern Studies and Comparative Psychology from the University of Scranton, Doug has had extensive training in craniosacral therapy and somato-emotional release from the Upledger Institute. In addition, Doug has attended a number of hypnotherapy workshops conducted by members of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He has taught and practiced yoga and meditation since 1976. Doug has integrated these disciplines into his individual and group therapies to provide clients with more effective ways of cultivating self-awareness and self-control in daily life.
